Do not recommend for vaccines if your child is scared of shots. My daughter got upset (after seeing my son start bleeding after his shot) and I asked for five minutes to calm her down. The pharmacist said they aren’t a clinic and she can’t go back and forth. She refused to give her the shot. Disappointed to have to fill out all the paperwork, have your insurance billed, wait and then be refused.

Absolutely ridiculous experience with Safeway Pharmacy. I called two days ago to have my prescription transferred, and they said they’d call me back — never did. I called again today, and they said again that they’d follow up and call me back — and still nothing.
Finally, I called a 7th time, and now they tell me they did receive the prescription, but don’t have it in stock. Seriously? No one thought to call and tell me that?
To make it worse, the women I spoke to were rude, unprofessional, and had a serious attitude. The communication at this pharmacy is beyond unacceptable. It’s clear they don’t care about their patients or their time.
Do better, Safeway. This was a complete waste of time and energy.

Had my child’s prescription sent here to North Pole Safeway Pharmacy. Came in next day to check status and the pharmacist said they didn’t have enough to fill the bottle and for me to come back Monday afternoon and it should be ready. I come back Monday afternoon and pharmacist says it can’t be filled and she’s explaining to me she’s the only one there filling hundreds of orders. I ask her if they can transfer my child’s prescription to another pharmacy and she says to have that pharmacy call them and they will transfer it. Two days later, I’m calling the new pharmacy to check the status of my child’s prescription and they tell me they didn’t get the prescription sent over and that they would call North Pole Safeway Pharmacy to get it. The new pharmacy calls me back and tells me that North Pole Safeway Pharmacy told them that they never had a prescription on file for my child. That makes no sense if I’ve went and communicated with the pharmacist at North Pole Safeway twice and they knew what my child’s prescription was and everything, so how are they now telling the new pharmacy that there was never a prescription on file?
Save yourself the headache and get your prescriptions transferred to any place other than North Pole Safeway Pharmacy.
