  The doctor was very professional and seemed fairly knowledgeable, BUT their office can not tell you what your insurance will cover, must pay full amount up front, then receive a CREDIT when your insurance pays, totally NOT acceptable. you are treated like a CUSTOMER not a patient by the office staff.

  I am very happy with my time at Juneau Eyecare from the front desk to Dr Rugama. One of the things I like and appreciate is the doctor explaining each step as she proceeds in the exam and explains the why for it too. She is warm, approachable, current in her field and is kind to her staff.

  The segue from the 30 plus years with by retiring optomitrist was seamless and pleasant. I have no doubt that Dr. Sandra Rugama will continue to provide the excellent eye care I have enjoyed and bring it to an even higher level. Dr. Rugama is definitely a contact lens specialist that can address eye care challenges.
