Our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician specialize in restoring optimal function to people with injuries to the muscles, bones, tissues, and nervous system. Doctor asked me to do some movements in my hand then told me I had to come back and see another doctor to do an MRI or x-ray or something. I just don’t see why that doctor couldn’t do it. That’s just another office visit that they could charge the Insurance 🫤 It’s annoying when one doctor referred you to another doctor

- ELElmer LindstromJul 10, 20255.0I have found both Dr. Hightower and Dr. Brown to be very helpful in diagnosing my condition and explaining my treatment options. Two months ago Dr. Brown performed a full replacement of my right shoulder. My recovery has been as rapid as I could have hoped and with remarkably little discomfort. I have osteoarthritis in both of my knees as well and anticipate my first full knee replacement surgery with Dr. Hightower in the near future. I have also received physical therapy through the clinic on multiple occasions and have found the therapy to be effective and the therapists both skilled and friendly. I have been particularly impressed that the therapists share the same medical records system with my doctors and are thus able to communicate with each other regarding my progress. I highly recommend the Juneau Bone and Joint Center.
