My child went here when he was younger, ages 3-5. He had such a bad experience that even now, 10 years later, when he sees the building, he mentions how terrible he felt while there. His OT’s were students and really didn’t know at the time what they were doing, or how to build rapport with a kiddo that was struggling. He was violently subdued during OT, by a huge man, that was not a certified therapist or even in school to become one, but shadowing the therapist for some reason. I was too trusting. I had a therapist, that did not work with my son, but yelled at him in the waiting room for something he absolutely didn’t do, try and call me into the owners office and lecture me. This was after I spoke up and called her out, with another parent in the waiting room agreeing with me on defending our kids. The owner sat there and did/said nothing, just let her employee rail away. I later saw that employee elsewhere, and she’d been fired, but no apology or mention of the incident to me from the owner ever occurred. My kiddo had an in incredibly helpful, experienced and professional speech therapist while there, and when she left, she pulled me aside and let me know that my child was unliked and unsafe at Building Blocks. I have sat on all of this for too long, but hearing my child mention yet again, just this past week, their memories of being so unhappy and scared while doing OT here, I feel compelled to finally speak up and leave a review.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. Every therapist, the ownership and leadership, even the custodians and receptionists in the clinic are phenomenal. I would not choose OT, PT, or ST in any other location in town. We work with all of the therapists in the building, and they are absolutely wonderful. The progress we have seen has been more than we ever expected. I would give 100 stars if I could!

My child is quite delayed and receives p.t. and o.t. here as often as we can come since we live so far away. They treat my daughter very well and she loves her play therapy with Eric and Lindsay, they are amazing therapists. Ariel (I hope I spelled it right), the front desk lady, is very welcoming to our family when we come in. The whole bunch of them feel like part of the family. Amazing staff all around!
