My father was in urgent need of his pain medication, so I stopped by to check if the prescription had been called in. He normally uses the VA, but this was a critical situation. When I arrived, there were three staff members behind the counter. The man ahead of me had been waiting for what had to have been over ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged him. When it was my turn, the staff that helped him walked away without a word, and the others continued "working" as if I didn’t exist. Not one of the three could take a moment to speak to a single customer. I stood there, feeling increasingly uncomfortable, just watching them move around behind the counter. After waiting far too long, I gave up and walked out. I even called while I was still inside the store and left a voicemail—no one ever called me back. The entire experience was appalling. The area looked unsanitary, meds should not be handled in such a filthy place. This is by far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. Fred Meyer phamarcy, also in Eagle River, are awesome. Use them instead and AVOID Carrs.

I grew up in Eagle River along time ago. I was there on the day this store opened. I’m visiting my elderly parents. I got a sinus infection and am not well. Teledoc sent some meds in for me at this Carrs. My dad was wanting to go and pick up some groceries and I said meds weren’t ready since they haven’t texted me. But he just had to go so I went to pharmacy and they were wrapping up with a gentleman and I stepped up and literally told her the story of how I was there. I guess lunch started at 1:30 and I gave her the opportunity to say my meds weren’t ready and I would have came back after their lunch but no she asked name and date of birth. Then I had to look something up on my phone and she was just acting so damn impatient by taping her finger on the countertop. Their card machine asked all these questions which took even longer. All I kept hearing is her finger nails tapping on the countertop top. Wasn’t asked if I needed to ask pharmacist about the meds I’ve never taken. I’m more pissed about the whole scene played out than if she would have just said the prescription wasn’t ready and they were going to lunch till 2. I respect everyone’s time for lunch, I would have rather came back and had a great experience that Carrs usually provides than to sit here writing this.
