I elected to pay $39 for "Optomap Imaging" out of pocket after the cost and service was explained to me. Payment was made at the practice following my visit. It was an unpleasant surprise to get a bill for an additional $136 for a "Corneal Eval Level 3". This additional cost not explained by the staff. Better communication is required in terms of billing and expenses. When queried later, it was explained as a "contact lens fitting". Dr Smith was pleasant and efficient.
