Honestly, I had never done Pilates or anything prior to the intro course they offer here. It was fun and informative. Instructor Dana was great and patient, and the rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful. The workouts and activities themselves are super engaging and entertaining. The only problem, which unfortunately isn’t exclusive to this location or company, is the price. With the specialty equipment and gear, it’s not totally insane what they charge, but it’s the hidden clauses that get me. $120 CAD for 4 classes doesn’t sound overly crazy, but when it’s mandatory to purchase at least 3 months worth of membership… it gets a little unjustifiable, especially for beginners.
All that being said, I do recommend this place if you’ve got the money and time to commit to this type of excercise.

People love to say " Pilates isn't a workout." To that I say: come take a class with Corrie, or Dana at Club Pilates in St. Albert and let's talk after. I've been going to Club Pilates St. Albert for a year now, and I genuinely love it. Corrie and Dana are knowledgeable, motivating, and somehow manage to be encouraging while quietly setting you core on fire. It's the kind of workout that looks graceful and then humbles you deeply. I am a loyal 6-7 am attendee and those early classes have been a game changer for me. I just wish there were more 6-7 options for those of us who need to get our workout in before heading to work. Also, please, please bring back the cardio sculpt/jump classes. Those classes burned serious calories, and I could see and feel the difference. Fun, challenging, and widely effective.

I recently started Pilates and I’ve had an amazing experience so far. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful! I’m in my 60’s and feel totally comfortable with all the ages present. I’m looking forward to getting in shape. Thanks Club Pilates :-)

Starting signing up for classes, didn't finish booking anything before backing out. This place now calls multiple times weekly, leaves messages, emails. If the client doesn't respond after the first message, they aren't responding positively after the 100th.

I've been taking Pilates classes at Club Pilates in St. Albert for almost a year now. I can confidently say it's been one of the best things I've ever done for my body. My overall strength has improved, along with my balance and flexibility. The back pain that used to keep me up at night is gone and my posture has improved so much that I've actually gained 1/4" in my height.
I really love that every class provides variations on each exercise so that you can adapt the workout to what your body needs on any given day. Sometimes I want to push myself and other times I'm just happy I made it to the studio, and in both cases I know I'll get the workout that fits my life that day.
The instructors and staff are all so welcoming and amazing. I had never taken Pilates before I started here, and the way the instructors walked me through every class, giving me extra help whenever I needed it, made it easy to come back time after time.
The welcoming and friendly atmosphere is what really keeps me coming back. They foster a very warm community here and I feel lucky to be a part of it. All of the people who come here regularly are so supportive and non-judgmental and I have grown to love seeing many of them on a regular basis. This is honestly one of my favorite places to be.
If you're on the fence about Pilates, come here and do a free intro class. I promise you it will be well worth it!
