- MSMarylou SchechtelJun 26, 20255.0We contacted Homestead about using their services for our 93 year old mother so that she could attend her grandson's wedding. Mandy (my mother could not pronounce her name so was told to call her Mandy) arrived promptly and drove Mom to the wedding. She was able to load and unload the wheelchair from the vehicle and help Mom into the wheelchair. After the wedding and family pictures, Mandy took Mom back to the hotel and purchased lunch for her. Mandy stayed with Mom at the hotel while Mom slept and then later drove her to the wedding reception and dance. Mandy stayed with Mom and looked after all her needs at the wedding including getting her something to eat and drink. My mom was very happy with the service provided.

From the initial phone call, working with the Care Consultant, Michelle, and with our Caregiver, we felt comfortable. Michelle demonstrated empathy and really understood what we needed in a Caregiver. She spent a great deal of time meeting us and talking with our Mom. Within one day, we had a Caregiver. What a match! My Mom really liked her and quickly engaged in activities with her. Most importantly, this Caregiver really listened to our Mom! We felt positive about working with Home Instead and very quickly relied on them.
