  We have recently hired Home Instead Sherwood Park to provide in home care for my 96 year old mother. From initial phone call inquiry to present day, the service has been exceptional. I initially spoke to Judy about in home care and expressed some urgency with the situation. My mom had been living independantly in her bungalow and went into significant heart failure in a matter of weeks. We needed assistance urgently while we worked with her doctors to try and stabilize her. Judy was available for an intake meeting within 2 days and we had in home care that same week. The person assigned to care for my mom is kind, compassionate, caring, patient and very knowledgable. Judy and her office staff always answer the phone (no answering machines to deal with) and any requests of changes have been accomodated easily. The physical and mental load that has been lifted is enormous but most of all, my mom feels cared for, safe and is happy to be able to stay in her own home. My mom was very resistant to having someone come in to assist her but within a matter of weeks had embraced the change and speaks as though it was her idea all along. That is a true testament to how valuable this service has been to her and to our family. Thank you Judy and company for a job well done.

  If I could give zero stars, I would! I had a loved one that used to be with this company, and it was so sad hearing what he had to go through between basic tasks not being able to be completed such as people not knowing how to sweep a floor how to do dishes and how to feed somebody... Like what kind of business is this? You run a Homecare business you should be taking care of people and providing good service! One star is too many stars, please go elsewhere.

  I recommend going anywhere but here All the staff is under trained and very lazy when it comes to taking care of somebody and being a Homecare worker you should be able to do basic tasks like doing laundry, sweeping a floor and taking care of the person you’re supposed to, when it comes to this company most of that is a lot to ask for… I would recommend going with any company, other than this one

  I had a loved one that was with this company and it was very sad to see how the owners as well as caretakers took care of my loved one Homecare cost a lot of money and you would think you would get some decent care but not with this company I don’t know what to say other than companies like this should not exist. It’s not fair and they are just taking advantage of people. It’s very sad please stay away.
