Rhina was amazing. I dont like being hounded in optical stores and prefer to reach out when ready and she picked up on that immediately making sure she could assist when we were ready. She gave us all the details necessary, was polite and helpful, and very sweet! So happy she was the one who assisted us as another person there seemed to be having an off day

I had such an amazing experience at LensCrafters thanks to Marnie and Orlanda! 💙 Marnie took her time and was so patient in helping me find the perfect fit for both my prescription glasses and sunnies. She made the whole process fun and enjoyable, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had this much fun shopping for glasses before! Orlanda was also incredibly knowledgeable and so generous with her time. She patiently walked me through all my options and helped me find the best lenses that fit my budget, especially since I was paying out of pocket. I really appreciated how she made sure I got the best value without feeling pressured. And I have to say... Orlanda took the measurements for my prescription glasses perfectly in just one try, and it was only her second day of training. She is seriously so good! 👏 I’ll be honest, when I got my first prescription glasses from LensCrafters two years ago, the experience wasn’t as enjoyable as this one. But yesterday completely changed that for me. Kudos to the management team for hiring Orlanda (it was only her second day!) and for keeping amazing staff like Marnie, who clearly has so much experience in customer service. AND Oh and yes… we are DEFINITELY coming back in December! The month when my prescription insurance magically becomes my best friend again 🤣💸
Overall, such a wonderful experience doing business with LensCrafters. Truly grateful for the care and service I received! Highly recommend! ✨👓

The service I received from the individual helping me was exceptional. She was very great to speak with. This review does not in anyway reflect her great service.
However my 3 stars reflects the timing in which I was told I would receive my newly purchased glasses. I was given a timeframe of a week, and then when I went in on the day I was then told the box with my glasses was held up at UPS headquarters in Red Deer. I was assured that the box was indeed there and they just hadn’t brought it to the Bower location, for whatever reason. I was told to come in the next day and my glasses would be there. Next day comes and still nothing.
3 days pass and I call to see if my glasses had arrived yet to which then I was told, they weren’t actually at the UPS headquarters in Red Deer and there was some confusion and they needed to be ordered again.
My new date is expected to be the 30th of March. I had to take my business to another local establishment where I had to purchase another pair of glasses to which they have arrived, because the only way of me seeing was the prescription sunglasses I had. This was the reason for my new purchase to begin with.
I understand things happen, but when I’m not able to receive a valid answer to where my glasses are and to why exactly they had to be re ordered again, that’s not okay. They seemed to be just as confused as I was. I was left wondering and confused as I was told they were for sure at UPS. Either way, this experience has left me wanted to take my future business elsewhere.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
