This is the 3rd time I’ve been at Specsavers at West Edmonton Mall and I thought the first time was just a fluke but they need better ways to do their check-in. There’s a lineup of people needed to be check-in and they only have one person working the check-in line.

Got my prescription completed by them and it was incorrect two times. When I went back to them telling them it was still wrong they did not believe me and just adjusted the ears. The quality of the glasses is cheap and they will fall apart after a year. Go elsewhere.

My first time at Specsavers. I received a flyer in the mail so I thought I would give them a shot. Glad I did!! I would greatly recommend seeing Cannon. He is the head optometrist, he's very knowledgeable and patient. It was a pain free experience. I got 4 pairs of glasses for the same price I paid for my resent pair. Thank you Cannon.

I’ve been visiting Specsavers – West Edmonton Mall for the past couple of months, and I want to give a huge shout-out to Canon, one of the opticians. He has been absolutely outstanding. My eyes are extremely sensitive, so I’ve become a bit of a frequent flyer at the store, coming in repeatedly when things didn’t feel quite right. Canon has handled every visit with exceptional patience. He’s adjusted my frames more times than I can count, switched frames when needed, changed my lenses a couple of times, and even had my progressives fully remade to exact measurements. I have a high prescription with high-index lenses, so accuracy matters. When the lab sent back lenses marked as “acceptable,” Canon looked at them and immediately said, “Nope, these aren’t good enough,” and sent them right back. His commitment to precision — not just “good enough” — truly stands out. Even though I’m sure he might want to hide in the back when he sees me walk in again, he has never once made me feel like a burden. He remembers my name, listens carefully, takes my concerns seriously, and always goes above and beyond to make sure my glasses actually work for me. I’m incredibly grateful for his patience, kindness, and high standards. If you want someone who genuinely cares and will make sure your glasses are done properly, go see Canon. He’s exceptional.
