I bought a pair of glasses and not the inexpensive ones and within a year the frames broke twice. The second time was recently. I went into south common to ask them to send them away for a second time and was in the store for 10 minutes waiting while the one staff member was dealing with a family who seemed completely confused about if their benefits covered the glasses. The girl went to the back to seek assistance from another staff member as there were several of us waiting for assistance. I was next in line and the other staff member came out to assist the fellow that was behind me. I waited another 20 minutes and finally had to go to a meeting. The fact my frames have broken twice is ridiculous and the fact I was skipped over and was still waiting after 30 minutes was unacceptable. However, the owner/Dr that owns that store called personally to apologize and noted that being a new store has its challenges and as a learning opportunity she spoke with her staff to provide them guidance. I very much appreciated her taking the time to address this. She also provided me with a future discount for my troubles. As a side note, the frames that had broken have been discontinued by the vendor so I assume I wasn’t alone with the issue of weak frames.

What a wonderful store. Nice and clean. Everyone seemed friendly. I was greeted right away. I didn't make a purchase because I'm waiting on my benefits to renew. Did not feel pressured to buy how I've felt at other opticals. They also did an adjustment and cleaning on my current glasses for free! Will definitely be back in the new year!

This SPECSAVERS is the absolute worst optometrist that I have ever been to throughout the last 30 years. I had a wonderful experience at the location at West Edmonton Mall, but it was too far so I decided to come to this location and it has been nothing but absolute headaches for my kids, for my spouse, and for myself. The owner/manager of the store is incredibly rude, The doctor at this location is not professional and gave me a completely wrong prescription and then the store has refused to fix it. I strongly recommend going elsewhere! Save the headache, save the money, save your valuable time.
