I went in to fix a lens manufacturing issue in addition to a frames issue, but was told that the lens manufacturing issue was due to my "improper usage." I asked for an explanation of how a cracked lens due can be due to "improper usage," but was not provided with a reason that makes sense at all. Instead, the associate got defensive when I told her that I don't understand the explanation. The associate also told me that they do not accept manufacturer insurance claims in-person, which is untrue because I was able to submit manufacturer's warranty in a different LensCrafter store previously. I am now filing a grievance report to the Lens Crafter company for this store failing to fulfill their duties.
