- JHJoan HarteNov 29, 20255.0The Specsavers at McKenzie Super Store was wonderful. The day I stopped in they were just opening. There was training happening and I was prepared to be disappointed. My daughter convinced me to give them a try. I had a bad experience years ago and so was not expecting much. The regional training manager was present. He and the new branch manager made sure that I were extremely helpful in ensuring that I first off had lots of time to peruse my options and was very comfortable. Then they ensured that the price I got was even better than I had been told. Friendly, and personable! Then the new glasses were delivered to the Specsavers store in Grande Prairie and there too the service was amazing. If we could bottle this training coordinator and sell his talent we would wipe out every other eyewear location. So Kudos to you, and while I am not 💯 sure, I believe is is manager of the Chinook location.

All patient records have been retained from former lessee, as well as the front end staff who are both super friendly and helpful. Not sure if it is a new ophthalmologist since my last visit 18 months ago, but he was really great in explaining both the exam and the results. A fairly extensive frame selection considering it is a smaller store. Love that the frames show price including a single vision lens, and prices are actually slightly lower than previously. Current 2 for 1 pricing is extremely competitive. I have been buying my glasses from Superstore for about 10 years and in Calgary for 60 years - I’ve bought from just about every supplier in Calgary and actually worked briefly dispensing eyeglasses for Hale Optical in my youth so I know a little about this business. I will continue dealing with Specsavers as in my opinion, they can’t be beat. You can buy a $1000 pair of designer frames elsewhere if you want, but I don’t need to.

The assistance I received in choosing new frames was perfect and very helpful. Very reasonable prices also available. I definitely recommend this location, also the one at south centre mall, which I was very pleased with 2 yrs ago.

This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier.
