  I had a great experience. Halima and Dr. Sunaina were very helpful and explained everything clearly when I went in for an eye exam and to get new glasses

  I called in advanced and asked if they accepted my insurance coverage and they told me they did. I made an appointment and was told to wait 20 mins past the appointment time to be seen. The doctor told me she wanted to dilate my eyes but I’d have to come back some other time for that because they were too busy -_- I came for an eye exam and wanted to get new glasses but for some reason after the exam was done (ish) they couldn’t figure out my insurance coverage. I paid for the exam out of pocket thinking that it was very strange. I called my insurance and they said there shouldn’t have been any issues. I still haven’t gotten new glasses because my insurance was supposed to cover my lenses. They also never sent me a copy of my prescription as I requested (twice). At my last eye doctor there were no hiccups like this. The doctor was friendly, but it seems like the shop itself is run poorly. I’ll be finding somewhere else to reexamine my eyes and purchase glasses from.

  Great selection and price but greatly needs improvement on customer service and professionalism from owner and staff. experience- 2024- I’ve ordered two Rx eyeglasses (1 sunglasses ,1 clear) from Walden in 2024 and was advised to use it for days. After noticing I cannot read with the clear one and it got blurry when reading texts from a book, I went back and was then advised by their Walden rep to have a few more days with it. After weeks, dropped by their Shawnessy clinic where owner Sadie told me that the clear glasses they’ve issued was just for distance and not for astigmatism and if I have my old glasses(for astigmatism , as I used to have it for reading) I can bring it to Walden when she comes there for a visit. Brought my old glasses(for astigmatism and reading) , and as the owner had the reading done out of it, she then advised that she’d get back to me and replace the glasses at no cost as it was their fault. Unfortunately, the owner did not get back to me, got no replacement glasses. What sad is that she did not even note my file of the issue and my eye readings ( with astigmatism. when I called their phone line and asked for file transfer 2025 - Me and my family members then decided to transfer over to another eye clinic because of the above. 2025- But because they had a promo for kids’ glasses , I went back to purchase a pair of glasses for my son. Walden rep told me to raise the above complaint to the owner again. When I went to pick up my son’s new glasses , I get to talk to remind the owner that she left me hanging in 2024, and to pacify me she then asked me to email her my new prescription and even offered me to pick a new pair from their selection. I was again promised that she would order a new pair for me and it will take 4-6 weeks. Today , after a month of waiting, I went back to Walden specsaver and was advised by their rep that I had no new prescription reading on my file, no notes from the owner, no new purchase ordered under my name ,nothing.
