The Pennsylvania Army National Guard serves local while supporting operations across the state and abroad. Service to the National Guard is part time— meaning one weekend a month and generally two weeks in the summer.
The Guard has over 120 careers that you can explore with your local Career Counselor— ranging from infantry/artillery, or trades, to even communications and intelligence. You can begin to explore these as early as your junior year in high school, while you’re in college, or if you graduated and looking to add extra stable work to your life!
During your service, you will earn 100% college tuition, paid job training, and many other benefits including a retirement, life/health insurance, and possible sign on bonuses!
