  Librairies tend to be exceptional places, and this one is no exception. I have had difficulty walking for several months now, and a remnant from the COVID times has been a huge help - I can put books on hold and a staff member will check them out to me and bring them outside. Any library is every library, so whatever book or media you want, if it's in any library, they can get it for you. Wonderful community engagement. Just a top-notch place.

  Best library branch in the area! The Slidell Branch has a huge and diverse reading collection, quiet spaces for studying and tutoring, collaborative areas you can reserve for meetings, free computer access and wifi, and a very knowledgeable and kind staff with an answer to pretty much any question! During the summer, the system offers a summer reading program where you can read to win prizes and entrances to raffles! You can also track your progress online which is a huge time-saver. The lovely staff offers events year-round for all kids, teens, and adults, including special guests, art projects, armchair travel, and other fun events! Check out their website to find out about them so you can sign up and attend for free. The branch also has a large children's section with toys, coloring books, and fun scavenger hunts with prizes, and in the back, there is a teen section with the latest titles, video games to check out, and other little activities. Come visit the library!

  Very noisy for a library! But, it was clean and well organized. Everyone was friendly.
