The Coeur d'Alene Nursery, on the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, is a full service facility that can provide bare root and containerized plant stock for publicly-owned lands. Along with seed cleaning, and storage, the Nursery can provide stock quality testing for the land manager.
To fulfill its mission, the Nursery maintains 130 acres of irrigated seedbeds, along with 17 controlled environment greenhouses. From the seedbeds, over 16 million seedlings can be produced annually, while the greenhouses can grow an additional 4 million containerized seedlings annually.
