  I had to call this office to get information for a veteran who was out of state, the lady who answered the phone was very helpful and friendly. They were able to provide me the answers I needed and the family member I assisted got what they needed. 10/10 experience.

  If you’re looking to file a disability claim, I recommend going to Pete at Pickaway Co VSO. He has been super helpful facilitating my claims process and is very knowledgeable.

  Scheduled me two months out for a first appointment. Three days before the appointment the call me and told me they canceled and would have to push it back another month. Instead of trying to fit me in somewhere they told me no and that I couldn't come it. Disrespectful and not helpful. Called Fayette County VSO and they were booked up too but managed to fit me in the same week. Don't go here they don't care about vets.

  I'm a disabled US Navy veteran and was in need of getting some benefits assistance. After reading the initial reviews I was a bit hesitant to contact the office but I did some additional research and had found that the staff responsible for the majority of the negative reviews had changed around 2020. I decided to give it a shot and reached out to Margi, who is the current director. We played phone and email tag for a couple days but I was able to get an appointment scheduled that worked for my schedule which was awesome. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by the receptionist who was in a very cheerful mood. Margi came out a little before our scheduled appointment time so I did not have to do much waiting at all. She explained the who process to me, made some recommendations based on what I told her and I ultimately got what I needed from the VA in a very timely matter. I was very impressed by the dedication of the staff, most of which have true connections to veterans and there struggles. I was treated with respect and understanding throughout the entire process and Margi was absolutely awesome. If you are a veteran and looking for help with a claim or benefits i would highly recommend engaging the this VSO.
