LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN) has established programs for Los Angeles City and L.A. County residents to safely dispose of their household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (e-waste). Note that it is against the law to transport more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste to collection sites. Please pack your waste properly to prevent tipping or spilling of the waste during transportation. Visit our website to learn what is and is not accepted at SAFE Centers.
Please note that all SAFE Centers close if it's raining and if rain is anticipated. We are also closed on all holidays observed by the City of Los Angeles.
