California Army National Guard

The California Army National Guard has served the great State of California and Nation since 1903. This versatility enables us to respond to domestic emergencies such as wildfires, flooding and mudslides, and conduct overseas combat and reconstruction missions. The Guard responds with speed, strength and efficiency defending the communities and country we call our own. Enlisting in the California National Guard means more time at home. Training typically requires one weekend each month, with a two-week training period once each year.
