  When it gets close to closing they hide & don't answer the drive-thru. More than once. They can't follow orders at all. If you say no mayo, not only do they put it on anyway, but overload it on the sandwich. Ridiculous amount, disgusting! Then give an attitude when you want your money back.

  My sandwich, Asiago. Chicken had shredded lettuce and it was falling all over the place. No tomato.

  Reading over past reviews, I am reminded in today's digital age of the marvel that is language. There can be often much to read between the lines of a statement. For example, typing in all caps and denigrating the rating of a hard working group of people and their decent establishment followed by three consecutive commas and other sundry grammatical errors displays the fast food emotional depth and intellect of an author. I am puzzled by the punchline of the "big joke" that is associated somehow with the general consensus of this restaurant by many reviewers. I am also puzzled by the asserted legitimacy of a review or any comment posited by an individual whose standard of goodness in a sandwich is that their "burger barely moved the bun"? I wonder if the contrarian nonsense senselessly mirroring most honest customer's good time with negativity is anything more than a bot, or most likely just a troll? There is an intriguing draft of something robotic in the particularity of a certain quoted review... But what is not a mystery is the gratitude I hold for the good people and hard workers at the Spencer WV Wendys! Keep up the good work and ignore the sausage fingers that somehow stutter and slur with words manually entered into a keyboard. We appreciate you. And silently know this, you poor motionless hamburger bun purchaser, whose poor son did not have their hamburger bun move barely at all by their burger, I hope you find that perfect Wendys location out there somewhere in this beautiful world, where the buns move in exact prophetic and fundamentally necessary ways in exact accordance to that which the burger demands that they move. I believe in your hero's journey

  This is my second time eating in at this location. It was Sunday September 27, 2025 around 5pm. The staff was incredibly polite, helpful, and cheerful. The atmosphere exuded a pleasant happiness. Unlike other "fast food" chains where the staff seems dreary and melancholy, this location was again a pleasant surprise and I left in higher spirits than when I entered. The food was made with care and unrushed, which I appreciated as I would rather wait an extra minute or two for freshness and quality put into creating my meal by people who obviously take pride in their work. As experienced in the other time I dined at this location, the burger I ordered was given to me exactly in the likeness of the advertised menu pictures. I rarely write reviews, but I am taking the time to write this one because something as simple as the authenticity and genuineness of this location has gone quite a long way for me. It's really rare to find any fast food location in most parts of the country that deliver up to the standards that I'm sure the founder of the Wendy's company esteemed. Great job Spencer WV from a happy customer!
