    I went here on 01/04/2026 was the worst experience I have encountered. From the drive through to the food the cook needs to be retrained along with the lady taken the orders.

    Even if you live in Princeton, you could just do the drive and go to the next Sonics, located in Tazewell, VA, and it would take just as much time to get your food from Tazewell then to WAIT for service and WAIT for your food in Princeton. Even if they have NO ONE to serve YOU are the only customer, they take their time to take your order. Most of the time they seem very understaffed and I was super surprised to see (AND SMELL) ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES SMOKING POT in the parking lot before going back inside to work!!! I have nothing wrong with people that smoke, but doing it AT WORK? When you finally get the food it’s usually good, sometimes missing an item whether it’s something you paid for or just asked for. Some of the workers are kind others not so much.

    At this point I don't know how this place is even open. NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND A WHOLE NEW CREW!! The managers attitude is as bad as her dress code. Everytime we go there to pick up a doordash her shirt is stuck up her back showing every roll on her back not to mention her underwear hanging out. We used to love sonic, our first place we ate at was there a few years back, now we hate to even get a doordash from here, last night went there pulled up we was not greeted at the drive thru had to keep saying hello to get a response, then we said we was there for a doordash and the customers name no response pulled up to window all we could hear is the manager cussing about getting orders still at 9:40 and they close at 11. She is always rude and very disgusting with her attitude, if you hate your job and hate working for the public then find another job or stay home. Pure laziness also when something isn't right with a customers order she gets huffy and rolls her eyes like if you that lazy, do it right the first time and you won't have to fix it a second. Its absolutely pathetic and disgusting, I don't understand why she is even a manger and why something hasn't been done about her.

    The young lady in the drive thru took my order, radio silence over the speaker so I proceeded to pull up to the window. I wait a good 8 minutes before she acknowledges I am there. She asked if I had the door dash I said no mam I had ordered at the speaker. She straight faced slammed the window and hollered for someone to come take my order. At that point I just left. But if anyone encounters the frumpy rather large lady in the drive thru, I hope you’re ready for a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. Will not be returning and am in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau.

    After receiving my food the employee shut the window without giving me the drinks I ordered. I waited about 5 minutes. During that time the employee left the restaurant. I drove around the drive thru again to tell them I did not get my drinks. No one asked to take my order so I went to the window again . After waiting a few minutes without anyone acknowledging I was there, I drove through the drive thru again and this time told them I had my food but no drinks. She said come to the window. I am sure it was the manager because she was changing out the money drawers. She came to the window and handed me the drinks without a word being spoken. No apologies for my 15 minute wait, no thank you, no communication. I give them a zero out of 10 rating. Terrible service and rude manager.
