- JNJames NewmeyerAug 28, 20251.0My mother and I order from Subway frequently! And my mother always wants the same sub every time, but she wants the ham switched out with turkey. Every Subway I’ve ever been to never had an issue making this switch except for this Subway. The first time I asked, the guy said sure, he’ll just need to ring it up differently, which I was totally fine with. But the last time I stopped, the guy said they couldn’t do that because it “messes up their inventory”. I get that, every restaurant must keep inventory. BUT when a customer asks for simple swap out and you claim you can’t do that because of a lame inventory excuse, I’ll start going to Sheetz where I can get whatever I want on a sub!!
