When I asked the staff if I could just get the queso on the side — especially since I only ordered the chips because of the queso — they said they couldn’t do it. I even asked if they could return it, and they said no. So instead of offering a simple side of queso, it turned into this whole issue. What’s wild is that I went into the app, reported the problem through Pepper (the AI), and it fixed everything in seconds. Literally less than a minute later, the credit was in my account and I was able to reorder properly. If the AI is empowered to solve customer issues instantly, but the real humans can’t make simple adjustments, that’s a problem. Chipotle — empower your team the same way your AI is empowered.
