I paid $67 for our food and it wasn’t even good the shrimp in my burrito was burnt along with the steak. My fiancé ended up getting sick within a couple hours of eating there. But to top it off after I paid $67 on my debit card and put the word “cash” where it says tip and gave them a $20 cash tip because they were busy. It’s not the servers‘s fault the food came out wrong. But it just came through all my Bank card today they took out another $23.20 tip for them making the total 90.34. Very disappointed

A friend highly recommended Mi Degollado, and they were right! We dined on a Saturday late afternoon and the place was packed, but not too noisy. The colorful, hand-painted chairs and tables created a colorful and cheerful atmosphere. The service was quick and welcoming. I ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a chicken tamale with green sauce, while my companion ordered the enchiladas poblano, which consisted of three chicken enchiladas with Mole sauce, along with rice, salsa, lettuce and pico de gajo. We were both very happy with our meals. My enchilada chicken was very flavorful, not too salty, and the tangy and zesty sauce added just the right touch. The tamale had similar flavors, but milder with more starch from the bland corn meal. My partner was very happy with the Mole, which is not easy to find in West Virginia or even in Washington, DC! I say Ole! My only slight quibble is that there was no music playing, and I realized I missed it a bit since the only sound was people talking. We will definitely be back!

The absolute best salsa and great staff. We've been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and still love it.

All of the food was delicious! The chips were freshly made and still warm. The salsa was spicy but great tasting. Definitely worth a visit!

We are visiting Harper’s Ferry for a few days and decided to come here since it’s one of the only things open after 6pm. Now, I dont know if we are spoiled with good Mexican food in New Jersey, or if this was just a really bad night for them, but, we did not enjoy this food. The chori queso was $8 and came in a small bowl. Extremely oily and thin…more like cheese soup with chorizo. We also decided to get the Al pastor tacos and the quesadilla rellano. The Al pastor tacos were extremely oily. I had to put the meat on the second taco tortilla so I wasn’t getting all that oil and then pair it with the sides given. The quesadilla was not cut and it was extremely liquidly. The guac was good, I’ll give them that. The brands and rice that came with the tacos was super dry and my boyfriend said the breans tasted like dish water. We had gotten a tamale too, and that wasnt bad but it was very mid. Then, we decided to get the fried ice cream because how could that go wrong? Well, it did. It wasn’t fried!!!!! What the hell. About $102 including tip and I WOULD NOT recommend this place if you’re used to good Mexican food. The drinks were at least good.
