- JHJohn HixenbaughDec 14, 20253.0So I was there today around 12pm. I ordered the kookaburra wings, a house salad and the new filet skewers (minus sauce) with rice and broccoli. The bread was very hard on the bottom and tasted like it was at least a day old, if not more. The wings and salad were great as always. The skewers were absolutely not filet, the meat was very tough, no seasoning whatsoever and definitely not cooked rare as ordered (barely any pink inside and very dry). The rice was surprisingly grainy and gummy and undercooked all at the same time, zero flavor and extremely unappetizing. Broccoli was well cooked but had so much salt on it that I couldn't eat it. The server (cannot remember the name) was great, checked on me regularly and was apologetic after noticing I didn't eat much of the entree. The restaurant is always clean and the atmosphere is .... ok .... but could definitely do without the proprietor walking around on his phone having conversations loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. This location used to be amazing with the food quality always being above par and never an issue with anything. Not sure what has happened over the past several years, but it has definitely gone downhill. Most likely will not be visiting this or any other Outback location any time soon.
