This is your quintessential Wisconsin supper club experience. Low ceilings, multiple dining rooms, a fireplace, and a big bar in a separate room. It has that classic, comfortable vibe you expect when you walk into a true supper club. My wife and I have been here a few times while visiting within the past year and it’s been consistently good. Her 8 oz tenderloin was possibly the best steak I’ve tried anywhere. At $67 it’s not cheap, but it was absolutely quality and worth it. Perfectly cooked and plenty of flavor. Most recently I ordered the deep fried haddock off the standard menu. It was excellent. Large portion, light crisp breading, and cooked just right. The cheese curds were very good and a generous portion. Old Fashioneds were done properly, which matters in Wisconsin. A couple minor recommendations. The bread service could be better, although I did like the roasted garlic served on the side. Also, there is no specialty cocktail menu, which would be a nice addition. Overall, a classic supper club experience with high quality food and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

No longer has ribeye on the menu. Steak was very very rare (both that got steak) Food was not even warm. Cold to the touch. My grandson's 16th birthday and he ordered a burger and fries and they forgot the fries. He was done eating his burger by the time the fries came out. My daughter ordered the shrimp and scallops and there were 3 small shrimp and 3 small scallops for $30.00. She turned it away and shared her disgust. We are locals and go to Simpsons for our special occasions. About 3 times a year. My bill came to $107.00 for a very very rare steak and not warm. I had one cocktail and a root beer with the meal. Usually when I ordered sauteed mushrooms they were SAUTEED. These looked as if they dumped them on the plate from a .99cent can. I took most all of my steak home (too rare to eat) and quite frankly we were afraid if we returned them (two of us had steak) we feared then they would be overcooked. The cook did accomodate me and cut a ribeye for me but it was not the usual ribeye and I was charged $67.00 for it. The rolls were good and the baked potato was good though. Steak was bland and not worth the money they charged me. I will doctor it up myself at home. What a disappointment. Our party was a party of 10. We made reservations and they were NOT busy. Will never be back. We are locals.

Took a party of 11 here for my son’s 16th birthday. 1. Who removes a ribeye from a supper clubs menu??? 2. 30.00 for three small scallops and three shrimp? 3. Son didn’t get his French fries with his order, noodles with chicken mushroom pasta were not done at all. Crunchy. Daughters and mom ordered steak medium-came out rare dad’s pork tenderloin was extremely salty. Fries were all extremely salty and tasted like plastic. My son and I didn’t get our drinks-had to go up and ask for them-I completely gave my food back and refused to eat it. If I wanted an appetizer I would’ve ordered one. It was very cold in there. For there being 4 other tables-this service was extremely bad. Prices are ridiculous for what you get. Been going here for years-absolutely out of the question anymore.

Always consistently good food and service. Great bar area with a wood burning fireplace. Some evenings they have entertainment. Great cocktails and beer selection. Great specials.
