- STSarah Tarver3 days ago1.0I usually go to the west Madison location. However, Verona was open later so I tried them out. WORST MISTAKE! I ordered to go and looked at my food when I got home. To my surprise, there was a long curly hair hanging from my fried fish!! Granted, the manager was completely apologetic and issued a refund, it was still an unpleasant experience and will stick to my regular location. Still a North and South lover!! Just not this location :(

I enjoyed the sweet potato fries, not too crispy and not to thick. The hushpuppies unfortunately had FAR too much onion in them and I didn't finish a single one. The floors are sticky and our server seemed new, the young man visited the table very infrequently. Outside of the issues I mentioned, everyone else at my table enjoyed their food and drinks, it was a pleasant meal and the decor is well themed.
- BBBellOct 17, 20255.0We have a LOT of family in town due to a awful loss. The first mistake was ordering on door dash at the wrong location. I arrived early and checked in to find I was wrong. One of the staff members quickly took my order and stopped the other location. I even managed to have doordash refund me due to their wonderful help. We got our order made quickly and left. Unfortunately I was missing two main entrees and called to have them made to pick up. Ken, the manager must have heard how frazzled I was. He made our missing items and DELIVERED them to my house(which isn't even that close). He threw in extra nachos and pie and so much kindness. This week has been really heavy on our family. Honestly, this whole year. Having people be kind and care isn't just good buisness, it is healing. I hope the owner reads this and knows that your staff is radiating goodness. This was ao above and beyond good service ❤️
