  This may be not only the worst Sonic I’ve ever been to, I think it’s the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I’m in my late 60s. We came from the west side of Madison expecting a delicious Sonic coney and New York dog and an order of onion rings. Well, first they were out of sauerkraut for the NY dog. Okay, I’ll still have one. Oops, we’re out of onions also. How about a Chicago dog instead? Well, that won’t have onions on it either, and neither will the Coney dog….Oh, and they were out of onion rings also. Then it took 20 minutes to get our order. How is this place still in business? Next time, we’ll stick with Portillos.

  Went to a stall and press button to order. So I had to download the app just to order. The reason was they only had 2 people working at noon on a Sunday! The employees were doing the best they could with the position management put them in. Unfortunately it also reflected in the quality of the food. All fries and tots were so crispy there was no potatoes left so we just threw them away. If this place was properly staffed and managed it would be better.

  This place must be severely understaffed. Anytime we have gone. We only see one employee ON SATURDAY AFTERNOONS. The lines sometimes go around the building it takes 30+ minutes just to get a slush. The one employee was switching between register, drive through, and kitchen and the main area floor was sticky and in dire need of cleaning.

  I would prepare to wait and would not recommend stopping here if you are on a time crunch. For the past several times I’ve stopped by, there is around a 30-45 minute wait in my car after I have arrived (I have always placed a mobile order via their app). The food arrives hot and is good, when it finally gets to me, but it is the worst sonic I have been to and would not be the Sonic of choice to frequent if there were any others within driving distance.

  I ordered Door Dash through Sonic and my dasher arrived at the store 23 minutes after I placed the order and then was told that they hadn't even started cooking it yet!! She then waited 26 minutes for them to make my food!! RIDICULOUS. I will never eat at that Sonic again and I would definitely suggest that you just get Culver's!! Sonic Drive through sucks!!
