The location at 2221 Lathrop Ave, Racine, WI 53405, shows online that it opens at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday so they’re keeping right on schedule. I arrived just after they opened at 9:00 a.m., and everything about the experience was positive. Right away I was greeted by Christina, who welcomed me with a warm smile and asked helpful questions about what I wanted. Her upbeat and humorous tone made the visit feel genuine, not just routine. She guided me through each step of my order, checking in to ensure I was happy with my selections. For my meal, I ordered a foot-long Tuna, a foot-long Italian, and three cookies. I was a little disappointed to learn that the peanut butter cookie has been discontinued years ago seriously not trying to date myself LOL 😆, as it was always my favorite but that didn’t take away from how enjoyable the overall experience was. The bread was fresh, the ingredients looked vibrant, and the sandwiches were made with real care and attention to detail. I originally visited after reading several negative reviews about this location, but my experience was the complete opposite. Christina’s professionalism, kindness, and cheerful personality made this visit stand out in the best way. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this Subway to anyone looking for a friendly, fresh, and welcoming spot in Racine.
