I truly appreciated that call and the courtesy they showed it reflected good customer service and communication. Unfortunately, the follow through on the order didn’t go as smoothly. Even though the representative was professional and polite, it took another hour before my pizza actually arrived. When it did, the pizza looked great at first glance, but it was cold, had very little tomato sauce, and wasn’t as cheesy as expected. I also ordered the Philly Cheese Tots, which were visually appealing but a bit dry, and the garden salad didn’t feel worth the price point. What made it disappointing was that I had specifically discussed with the representative that I was fine waiting as long as the pizza was made fresh when a driver became available. Despite that conversation, it seems the pizza was baked much earlier than planned. It would have been nice if the store had added a small token of appreciation for the extended wait something simple like a complimentary dessert to acknowledge the delay. Overall, I’d say the experience had both highs and lows: great customer service upfront, but execution that fell short on quality and timing. I’m giving three stars because the communication was appreciated, but I hope next time the follow-through matches the friendly service.
