I saw one of the worker sneeze on my burger and tried to play it off and the lady cashier made me feel unwanted like she didn't care for real with the fake smile and my fries wasn't all the way cooked and the milkshake was too thick I didn't even get a sip of it I don't know what it is but these new crew members are terrible what happened to some of the old crew members

My husband and I went tonight and I ordered a little bacon burger. With extra grilled onions, grilled green peppers, pickles, and mustard.
My husband got one with cheese (but with jalapeños).
It took 15 min just to get our order and they weren’t even that busy. Then the kicker is when I asked for them to fix it, I basically got a lecture like I was stupid or lying about saying “no cheese”. My husband was right next to me when we ordered. He heard me say “little bacon burger”.
When I grabbed the remade one I got a scolding from the short, older lady with glasses about “speaking up when I order or making sure they repeat my order.”
It’s not MY job to do their job. I know what I said. The chick who took my order didn’t repeat our order either. She was the one with tattoos.
I don’t appreciate the attitude. Just fix your mistake and don’t argue with the customer. This was ridiculous. I don’t plan on returning if this is how people are treated by your staff!
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.

How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
