Life is Short, Stay Awake for it. Visit your nearby Caribou Coffee who believes that coffee is more than a drink with real ingredients. It's a personal experience that fuels your life and creates meaningful moments.
The few times I visited here my impression was that this was a very sterile, unhappy place being run by typical odd northwoods locals.
It was definitely an unfriendly experience by the young baristas , music was on but you couldn't hear or enjoy it. The pastry was meh, the breakfast sandwich was good.
It was empty there, I can imagine why.

The gentleman that took my order was thoroughly confused. The barista just rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to make my blended espresso thick. I won’t be back to this location again.

This is directed at the so-called manager Heidi. I was in there not too long ago and ordered my usual Caribou drink. She seemed very upset about my order for some reason, and then proceeded to ring up a drink that cost over $10! I told her it never costs over $5. Then for the next few minutes she kept arguing with me about it and acting like a know-it-all with a smug attitude. Eventually she created some other drink that was over $7,50.
I said no I will go to Starbucks instead, it should be under $5. And then her response?? No it's not. I responded Yes it is. Then she said No it's not... This went on 5x!! What sort of pathetic management is this?
I went to Starbucks: UNDER $5.
I went to another Caribou today:UNDER $5.
I have come to this location and let's just say that old exhausted looking woman that is the manager does not have a good attitude, and definitely does not have good customer service skills.
Heidi...pssst. it's $4.94 with tax.
Not going back. And, oh, Sam that was ringing this up have a pathetic and rude attitude.

We used to love this spot—great coffee, solid service, and super convenient. But that all changed the moment “Sam” entered the picture. Walked in 30 minutes before closing last week and apparently committed the cardinal sin of interrupting his riveting conversation with… whoever. The attitude? Immediate. The eye-rolls? Impressive. The customer service? Nonexistent.
Fast forward to today—we saw Sam behind the counter and walked right back out. Not worth the sighs, side-eyes, or the masterclass in Gen Z work ethic. Watching him treat the person in front of us with the same disdain was the cherry on top.
Until Sam is no longer the face of this place, we’re taking our money (and caffeine addiction) elsewhere. Hey Starbucks, guess you win by default.

Worst experience at any caribou coffee. I’m here on the weekend of the Fourth of July. I ordered ahead knowing it was going to be busy and I ordered 5 drinks. Gave about 25 minutes until I got the order. I even tipped ahead of time due to the amount I was ordering. I get my order and 2 out of the 5 drinks were wrong. The register line was too long to say something so I went to the area where they give out the drinks. I was ignored repeatedly by the woman making drinks so I finally spoke up and said my drinks were wrong. She rudely said well you’re gonna have to wait awhile because we’re busy. I get that but that’s why I ordered ahead and it’s not my fault you didn’t read what the drinks were supposed to be. Why am I being talked to like it was my fault?! As I was waiting she was sighing very loudly and throwing things which was making the customers very uncomfortable. She then says two drinks out loud, one of which was mine and then a berry chiller. I did not order a berry chiller. I ordered an iced berry white mocha. I asked her if it was a mocha and she straight up lied to my face and said yes. I didn’t want to deal with her anymore so I just left. What is the big deal for me asking for a drink that I paid for? This woman is in the wrong profession because she has zero customer service. I was a barista for 3 years and I was never that way towards customers during a rush or short staffed. The older lady needs to get a new job, maybe retire if she’s that stressed out, and caribou coffee should do better at hiring.
