Just through the main doors of Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel is the Bar, adjacent to the hotel’s spacious lobby, where you can enjoy local coffee, craft beer, and curated cocktails. It’s a perfect gathering place to unwind, relax, and take in the art.
Anthony was an amazing bartender. He was taking orders from all angles of the bar in such chaos during a loud musical performance. He made the best drinks and had a stellar personality. He made our mini vacation 10/10. Bartenders in 2026 get very little respect from patrons and he handled it all with class.

I love visiting the lobby bar at Saint Kate. One of my favorite spots in the city! The live music is great (enjoy seeing Joe Wray on Thursdays) and the cocktails are spot on and delicious. The food is great as well - can't go wrong with the pizza and burger. Shout out to Geoff who has taken care of me multiple times and is always a fun, professional and personable staff member. I will be back!

Spent 10 min in the lounge area without being served, so we moved to the first available seats at the bar. There were 4-5 empty drink glasses in this area from previous customers. After about 10 more minutes of being ignored, the bartender named Clay said to me “how do you expect me to know you want something when these glasses are sitting here?” Another patron looked at me and agreed that it was very rude. He finally took our order, then told me 5 min later to repeat my order because he was at the end of his shift and had forgotten. We ordered one more drink from another bartender, who then had a negative reaction to me when I presented my Zero Proof Pass (a coupon book featuring Saint Kate and a promo for AF beverages). The whole experience (my first time in this establishment) was disappointing. Even with the discounted promo, our 4 drinks were $50. That’s good coin to drop while also feeling disrespected. It’s a hotel bar, so a negative review won’t affect much I'm sure. But in my opinion, don’t waste your time or money there when downtown has plenty of good hospitality elsewhere.

Would have been 5 stars but before going to breakfast upstairs on 01/18, I stopped in the women’s rest room on the first floor & it was filthy..sink dirty, paper towel on the floor & over flowing the trash container, & the toilets unflushed & full to the brim. To say this was unappetising is an understatement. Them walking up the carpeted stairs I noticed that the carpet was littered with lint & dirt. What is happening there? Then asked to seated in a warmer area so there’s next to the kitchen. Had to move because the clanging pots & pans & the kitchen staff taking so loudly that it was disruptive. No server came for this area but another did (he had red hair) & I asked him to find my server. I moved because of the noise and lack of attentiveness. Our server was great! He had red hair & was very attentive. The food was very good & that made up for some of the other issues.
