- PCParris ChaplynDec 18, 20251.0Idk if this is an issue with this location or I'm mixing up different locations, and it's Wendy's policy now as I've experienced this multiple times now, I'm just not sure if it's been only at this location or across locations, but regardless I went to this location last night and ordered a small frosty at the drive thru and was rang up for a medium, and instead of ignoring it or catching it after the fact, I asked why they did that and the lady got slick at the mouth. She told me it was because they were out of small cups , I said okay just give me a small frosty in a medium cup then, and she replied "don't you think I would've did that, we can't do that we gotta charge you for the cup..."... Now again I don't know if this is a policy change, but on every cup they have a secondary measurement line for this very reason and in my previous experiences, if they ran out of a cup size they'll just charge you for the smaller size and give you the larger one for no additional price, or again just fill the cup to them mark on the cup. I really just don't appreciate them up charging me without asking me or telling me beforehand. On top of that I may have reasons for ordering a small. Sometimes I'm picking up food for my dad, who is a diabetic and often on fluid restrictions. In the past I've gotten annoyed when they've done this and not charged me for it, but now they're doing it and charging me for i..and it's somewhat fraudulent.
