- JCJames C.1 day ago1.0Wouldn't accept the $100 I was using to pay for my lunch (didn't test it or anything that cashier's usually do) but I was hungry so I walked to a store near by and a bar (neither could change me out bc it was only noon and they'd just opened). Walked back to colectivo to give an update so they weren't waiting around all day with a sandwich (lol) only to find out they could have changed my bill, they just "as of a couple weeks ago" no longer accept $100 bills. I've been coming to this location for about 10 years and love the casually rotating staff, the vibes, and my beloved turkey club to deathhhh but it's VERY hard to not feel like this was racially motivated so I believe I'll find other alternatives in the future. Thank you for the service up until now, it was always really appreciated.

- APAsh PappalardoOct 6, 20252.0im not usually one to leave a bad review and i’ve been coming to this colectivo location at least 2x a week for 2 years. in the last 2 months or so the consistency in quality has gone way down. i get the same drink almost every morning and it’s different every time. today i asked for my drink and when i got home to drink it, it was SUPER sweet. decided to run back over, its just a couple of blocks, because i really wanted it. i’ve been a specialty barista for 9 years. it’s always been common practice in this industry to remake items. instead they charged me the full $8.50 to remake it. again, i work in the service industry, i dont make a ton of money, this is how i treat myself on study or early work days. i was really disappointed by this because again they’ve been really inconsistent lately and i usually just grin and bear it. im always kind to the staff, because duh, and have a great rapport with a lot of them. its not like im asking for special treatment or anything, just the industry standard. im really rethinking frequenting this location now. :(
