  I ordered the chicken and waffles at Cafe Benelux and was underwhelmed. I’d just been in Atlanta and had excellent chicken and waffles, and this didn’t come close. The chicken was overdone and drowned in an overly heavy sauce, and the waffle was doughy instead of crisp. The staff and atmosphere were very welcoming. Sitting at the bar, multiple employees smiled and acknowledged me, which made the experience pleasant. That said, I only ate a few bites and was never asked if anything was wrong. Even after declining to take the food home, there was no follow-up. That lack of check-in stood out.

  I dined at Benelux last evening and had the pleasure of having Michaelyn as our server. It was my first time dining there after many folks have recommended it. I am a bit picky and made an adjustment to the sandwich I ordered. When it first came out it was wrong and I was a bit irritated. Michaelyn came around soon after the food was brought out which is when I told her it was wrong. She was extremely apologetic and made sure the new one was brought out very quickly. At other restaurants, correcting my order has taken a while and ruined the evening my Michaelyn’s timeliness and attentiveness made our night lovely! She made sure we were taken care of and was so kind! Our food was great but I would truly recommend Benelux for the wonderful service we received!

  Food: I only got a latte, gf got mocha, which both we liked. Service: it was ok. Not a lot of sugar packets were left at the table and coffee didn't come with a spoon which I personally think should come by default but that's to each their own. We came in on a Tuesday during holiday season at 11 am so there was zero wait, coffee came out quick. Atmosphere: loved it. The interior design was great, wood floorings and colors matching furniture well. A lot of cozy decorations for holiday seasons. Notes: there is outdoor seating in a little greenhouse enclosure, though it's not tightly sealed so it will be chilly. Also upstairs seating that's closed roof. Price for coffee was very reasonable.

  We booked a dome for a birthday party and we had a blast! It was in the 30s and rainy outside and the dome was so warm (in a good way). We ended up turning off the heater and we were very comfortable. There were pillows, a speaker, games, and cute Christmas decorations. Each person got a nice ceramic mug to take home. The dome also came with 2 drink packages. We got the boozy hot chocolate and the NA mimosas. Both were delicious. Food was amazing as well. The service was great, however I do think 90 minutes was not enough time for the full experience. By the time we got our food we only had 15 minutes to eat. I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, unique experience!

  We celebrated a family Christmas on December 19th at 4. The domes heaters were not on and it was a cold night…the waiter put the ceiling heater on and I asked about the space…he said that it was on, but we didn’t feel it. He told me again that it was on because the light was on. I brought blankets , but even with that it was cold…like the cold food that was suppose to be hot. We didn’t get a lot of attention from the waiter and when we did, he kept the door open! We did the Bass Bay Brewhouse Domes last year and it was a wonderful experience on all levels! This one didn’t even compare! Disappointing!
