  Been here in the past and it was absolutely amazing. Tonight was absolutely AWFUL. We sat at the bar and I watched 3 servers go behind the bar and take shots and they went right back to working. My drink wasn’t made correctly, the bartender was no where to be found. I ordered my burger medium well, it came out burnt and past well done. Again, no one came to check in, no manager checking in, nothing. Very disappointing.

  Avoid the upstairs: Music was too loud…which meant increased diner conversation volume. It was a sunny day and there are no blinds, so everyone had the sun in their eyes. Server didn't offer water or ask if anyone wanted refills. Server didn't inquire if the orders were correct (they weren't). Lastly, both upstairs and down, too many tables. Anyone walking by necessarily encroaches into the seated diner's space.

  A disappointing start to our visit to Milwaukee. I enjoyed my fajita hash and would get it again. But there were issues with my wife's order. She got the BELT sandwich and asked for the egg on the side. She doesn't eat eggs, so she'll give them to me. The sandwich arrived with the eggs on top and the yolks had burst into the sandwich. She ate two bites, but couldn't remove all the egg and gave up. The breakfast potatoes were also undercooked. When our server asked if the food was ok, my wife explained what happened. The server offered to put in an order for something else, but we had to leave. We still got charged for the meal despite the fact that they had messed up the order. The server didn't offer to comp it. It made for a disappointing start to our trip 😢

  We were in town for a wedding and stopped here because of the great location, convenient and centrally located. They had a nice selection of NA beverages and the waitress was nice. But the food was subpar. We ordered cheese curds, and those were fine. But I ordered the BAE (Bacon Avocado Egg) Toast, and it had maybe a quarter of an avocado mushed around and probably half of a slice of bacon crumbled on the toast. The "petitite salad" that came with it was just mediocre sauteed spinach. Edible and was hungry so ate the food, but no need to ever come back here. Maybe stick to the beer and bloodys - those were great!

  Cafe Benelux is pretty Cool downtown location with roof top dining. Food average plus service was good. Pleasant atmosphere love eating on rooftops. The menus provide something for everyone vegan/ vegetarian. I ordered the lux tater tots for appetizer they were okay they were cold when they came out to the table if they were hot I can see them being really good! Sprocket burger is what I ordered. The burger comes on a pretzel bun but that day they ran out of buns, so they use a brioche bun which I didn't mind...burger was cooked perfectly medium the way Ilike it, bacon was really crispy also nicely melted cheese good aoli sauce...comes with an egg witch was way overdone that sucked all around decent burger. My wife got the rocket salad, said it was awesome and would get it again. Cool spot 100% recommend!
