  I walked in right when they opened this morning. The lady who opened was extremely avoidant. I understand it is 6am, I gave the benefit of the doubt. I needed to order 2 dozen bagels for work. The first thing she says was “well this is all we have.” I understood and asked how long for more and she said “well, we just opened.” I have been when they opened before and they had many available, not this time. I went to Panera instead, they were so friendly, had all their stock, and even sliced all my two dozen bagels.

  Matt is exceptional! We had a really great experience here today. My mom ordered a hot coffee, but when she first tried it, it seemed cold. I went up to the register to ask about it, and the gentleman kindly walked us over to the coffee machine to see what’s going on. He later came over to our table to check if everything tasted okay and brought us two complimentary blueberry muffins to apologize for the inconvenience. That was such a thoughtful gesture. It’s rare to see people go out of their way like that. Thank you!

  I’ve been coming to this Bruegger’s location for years, and I don’t even live in the area. Friends of mine who do, have memories of this bagel shop from when they were children. This place is a classic and quite honestly a staple of the whitefish bay community. Bruegger’s never fails to be a safe place to go when you don’t know where to get breakfast, and also is very fairly priced. I spent $25 on 2 bagels, and 2 coffees, where at stone creek across the street would charge me $40. Always fun to see the bagels being freshly made, as well. Always will be my first recommendation
