Often closed when their hours say they should be open. They sometimes don’t turn off online ordering so you order and it just never comes.
Sometimes I do their curbside option when I’m in a hurry, and half the time they never bring it out after I hit the “check in” button and I have to call the store. They always act annoyed too, which is ridiculous- curbside shouldn’t be an available option if they’re so inconvenienced by it. Today I got a curbside order and an employee came out quickly, but she was really short with me and seemed to have an attitude. Their employees are usually not super friendly so I wasn’t shocked.
Honestly one of the worst jimmy johns I’ve been to, and it’s consistently bad. If it wasn’t 2 minutes from my house and work I wouldn’t go here.

We experienced significant disappointment with Jimmy John's catering service, which failed us during a crucial time. Our group placed a collective order, only to find the store unexpectedly closed early upon our arrival, with nothing but a brief handwritten note as explanation. When we attempted to retrieve our order the following day, the store remained unattended, leaving us without our food and without a refund. Despite several conversations with the staff, who assured us of a resolution, we are still awaiting any form of compensation. This situation not only caused financial loss but also forced us to hastily arrange alternative catering, leading to frustration and inconvenience for all involved. I strongly advise against relying on this Jimmy John's location for catering services, given their lack of commitment and professionalism.

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I live in West Madison and go to this location all of the time. The people that work there are always friendly and they make my order quickly and accurately. I also order pickup on the app all of the time and it's great. There have only been a couple of times where I went to pick it up and it wasn't ready yet but they were super busy with customers in the store..understandable. I also had a big work event the other day and ordered a giant party box the night before that feeds 30 and it was ready to go when I came to pick it up the following morning. It was perfect. I also love going into the store and hearing different music..one day I came in and they were playing metal, cool. Anyone with life experience that has worked a low paying food service job knows how much better the day is when you have good music to listen to. I think the problem is how impatient and uptight some people in Madison have become. Our world moves so quickly now everyone expects everything at the snap of a finger and if it's not exactly in line with what they had envisioned they throw a fit, relax. Order your sub, wait a minute, they'll call your name and you'll be on your way..pretty simple.
Second time I got sandwich’s from this jimmy johns location and they forgot to put meat in AGAIN. Also they close at 6pm even though their the website says 8pm. Someone is dipping out early.
It's a typical JJ's. I had tonwait a little longer than usual as this customer was giving the super cute cashier a hard time about some online transaction that wasn't working... idk after she was done my experience was quick and easy peasy.
