  Delivery service was fast but I specifically had marked under HAND TO ME since this order was 58.03, ALMOST 60. Because I ordered on the PJ'S page, my doordash account did NOT recieve a notification as it wasn't linked together. I did NOT recieve a call or text that the food was delivered from either side. Online didn't update. The food was just left in the cold middle mail room that ISN'T heated, as the place I lived is a locked apartment and it's a middle room. Again, HAND it to me. I've ordered from PJ before and liked their service and how friendly the drivers were. I will not be ordering again since they now seem to be going through doordash. If I order it will be through pick up. Because this wasn't through DDash directly, I can't just leave the driver a review like I normally would. On top of that, IF they are now ONLY using doordash, dashers WON'T PICK UP YOUR ORDER IF YOU WANT TO PAY CASH TIPS. All they seem to see is no tip I guess. Your food will be cold. I normally pay cash tips so I can give more if they do an exceptional job. Or just their job if I'm asking for something like handing it to me instead of just leaving it. If you do that, dashers don't take your order. This time I decided the last times PJ drivers did great and wanted to tip before hand. And I couldn't even get a message of any kind saying my food was delivered. They also normally put several peppers in with the pizzas. I only got one for each pizza. A single whole pepper for each pizza. Normally they had put several. One cup of garlic sauce for each pizza when the last time I ordered it was like three or four for one pizza. Which isn't even really my issue since it's essentially garlic and butter. I can make that. The buffalo chicken had buffalo for the sauce but not on top of it. I had ordered a buffalo with it but it was a pan pizza. So if you like a LOT of sauce I would order extra or have some at home. Why ask if you want it handed to you if you're not going to do it? My biggest issue is doordash here. All else I don't really care. This is also why I don't often order from doordash.

  Unfortunately every single time I order delivery from this location it’s another problem each time. Firstly they got my name wrong. Not a big deal right? Well that comes into play later. Secondly every single time I order, they are minimum 20 minutes late over arrival time every single time. It happens, I used to do delivery’s so I understand this. I ask about why this is happening they apologize and explain they are under staffed. Totally understandable. So I start ordering hours ahead of time and schedule orders that line up with my break time. Even still, the orders are 20-30 minutes late. Literally every single time. It’s frustrating but, I’m still understanding as long as they can accommodate for this. Well my latest order I order and it was an immediate order time. An hour goes by and I call and ask on delivery estimate. They said they were just on their way. So I wait another hour and there’s no text or notification my order was delivered. I call back again and they sound flustered about the order, they ask their driver and the driver says they delivered it about an hour ago and that they told our front desk to shout it over the intercom. Which is not at all what it says in my notes on my profile. It just explains leave at the delivery desk and shoot me a text. Which has been the ongoing method previously. Well back to my name being incorrect, they give our office the pizza and they have no idea who it’s for because the name doesn’t match any of our employees. So in that whole hour I am unaware my order was even delivered and my food is ice cold when I finally arrive to receive it. All I got was a sorry. I’m pretty understanding when it comes to these things but, when this happens over and over and over again. There’s no mistake. It becomes just negligence. This is hands down the most incompetent restaurant I have ever been a customer at. It’s genuinely frustrating when they take advantage of customers who are understanding because I used to deliver for door dash, I used to deal with the crazies when the order is a minute late or not as they ordered. This is exactly why there are freaks who scream and complain about their order to hard working delivery drivers. Papa John’s in Menomonie does not have hard working delivery drivers nor a competent management staff. I hope this review is helpful and I hope papa John’s sorts out these bad apples and fills up their staff with people who don’t turn a 15 minute drive into an hour drive and have no communication to the customer until an hour later.

  I have been thinking about yummy, hot and crispy chicken wings all day...Placed my order, checked the well done box(cuz crispy) and they were not the slightest bit well done let alone crispy. I threw them into my air fryer 😔 had to wait 7 more minutes and then they were almost as yummy as I hoped for the first time around. On a better note the papa bowl I got was definitely melted spicy goodness that I slapped on some toasted sourdough. 🤤 All in all 3.5

  Papa Johns in Menomonie in amazing! The food was delicious and Hendrene helped me when i couldnt get the deal on the app and she went above and beyond. She deserves a raise for sure!!!

  For how slow this place is, you would think they could get an order out on time. Rude employees and stale atmosphere. I cheated on Toppers and I'm embarrassed.
