  I stopped in for a quick bite for an early lunch. The interior is huge and very clean. I ordered ham sandwich on sourdough. The food was delicious and well prepared. I was a tad disappointed in the service though as I was the only customer at the time and apparently the cook wasn't paying attention to the order and I ended waiting almost a half an hour for my food. The counter person was somewhat apologetic but that was about it. I would try again possibly during a busier time.

  The Lunch Box Deli has the BEST corned beef sandwich ever! It was piled high with tender, flavorful corned beef and served on the best marble rye bread that held everything together perfectly. Every bite was juicy, hot, and seasoned just right you can tell they don’t cut corners here. Also the cheesecake hit the spot! And I have to shout out the cashier, Dameiana (hope I spelled it right)! She was so friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Great customer service makes a huge difference, and she absolutely delivered. Delicious food, clean environment, and amazing service. If you haven’t tried their corned beef yet, you’re missing out. I’ll definitely be back!

  I’ve ordered three times and have gotten the same dish - Mr. Shepard’s Mac. It is delicious and even good almost better the next day. The portion is large. I plan to return multiple times and get a different item in the future. I’m sure it’s all good.

  Wow, so just received cold food from this place and I'm still confused over how a simply order of a pound of ham & rolls could go so wrong. Long story short, I was given a pound of the coldest ham that I've ever felt. Like it feels like an ice brick. My family and I have been ordering HOT (hence the word HOT) ham & rolls for years now. Like a lot of Wisconsinite's, it's pretty much a weekly/monthly tradition. Not any place that I'm aware of, do they ever hand it to a customer while still cold. Places previous, even had the 6 rolls nice & warm. Like I am appalled. And then I call the restaurant & of course the girl that picks up the phone is totally clueless as a door knob. Wow. Just freaking wowzers. Never again, and I deserve a refund. Good going, Menomonee Falls.
