    Was a regular customer (once a week) for about 2 years and now no longer find myself in the area. Was in the area and decided to give it a shot again. Terrible service. Was as told I could not do AYCE as a single diner despite that not being a limitation on the sign. Will be my last time

    Sushi was fantastic- fresh, bright, and flavorful assortment of salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and more. We'll be back!

    This was definitely an overrated experience. The conveyer belt selection felt very limited, especially for an AYCE. As a first timer, server could have explained how things worked but we figured it out. Also, no included basics like miso soup or salad. The food itself wasn't bad but for this price, I wouldn't recommend.

    I ordered Takara for delivery yesterday through their app and the delivery person (who I now know is just Takara contracting Uber Eats) dropped off someone else’s order. I called Takara and the woman on the phone was extremely combative and rude, telling us she couldn’t help us and we had to contact Uber Eats. I called Uber Eats and they can’t help me because I didn’t place the order through them - Takara did. Then Takara refused to answer my phone call when I called back. Takara has been my go-to sushi place for over a decade and my family would order for big events and holidays but I have seen a decline in recent years, especially in the way they treat their customers. I have overlooked minor things in the past, like getting part of my order wrong or taking two hours for delivery, and have not once complained. But the way that woman spoke to me on the phone was absolutely unacceptable and I will never be back to this restaurant again. Check out Sushi Lover nearby if you want a better all you can eat option.
