  Sat in Driver thru for ever, than they messed up my order. Iwas 10 minutes away when I had to turn back. I ordered a HAMBURG no Mayo. I got a Cheeseburger with bacon and mayo. I'm allergic to dairy it cause breathing issues. They did comp any part of my order and looked at me like I was an alien 👽 because I complained. So disrespectful!!! I've worked in customer service at restaurants for over 30 yrs. They didn't even offer me a free meal or anything if I come back to town. I live an hour and 5 minutes away this store which is the closest to me. NEVER COMING BACK

  This location is horrendous. They mess up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME in different ways. The food always comes out cold and soggy after you wait 20 mins for it. Other locations are MUCH better

  The food is just as good as it was over 60 years ago. The only thing that changed is the price. For years we would travel to Chicago to get a hotdog for a beef sandwich. Now it is alot closer for us to go.

  I wanted to give them such good ratings but I can’t make this experience up. I’ve dealt with management and that even failed so I had no choice but to come on this platform. They mess my order up 9 times out of ten! They give me a gift card to make up for it, doesn’t work( it was expired 1-1-26) yet it was issued to me late March. Tried emailing me a gift certificate, doesn’t work. I gave them chance after chance after chance. Yesterday was my last straw. My polish had so much mustard on it I couldn’t even see the polish. As much as I love the food there, I just can’t keep being disappointed with the service.

  I was at Portillos on March 20th 2026. I had ordered a chili cheese hotdog, and after one bite, I started choking, I got up from my table when to a garbage bin and was trying to get it up, I could breathe and cough, but it was stuck and I was In need of help, None of the employees knew any sort of Medical practice, and At a food establishment that is very important, after 5 minutes of choking someone finally helped and to the guy that called 911 I really appreciate that. Thankful I was able to get it out when the police, emts, and fire department arrived, but I think it’s ridiculous that at a food establishment none of the employees knew what to do, and if it wasn’t for the guy that called 911, I would be dead
