  The food and customer service was amazing! Marie was so nice and friendly and so was the rest of the staff. The BBQ fell right off the bone and was delicious. 10/10 would recommend!! #tendernism

  The weekly special was right on time for the amount I needed for lunch! I'm so happy the dressing is on the menu 😋 everyday now! ❤️

  Stopped into Marie’s Soul Food and tried the fried chicken meal. I went with the 6-piece party wings in the hot honey lemon pepper sauce, mac and cheese, and a drink. Someone with me had the chicken fingers and fries. The wings were the highlight. Light breading, nice and crisp even with the sauce, and the flavor just works. I’d call it medium heat with a really good balance of sweet and spice. Honestly, this is my go-to there now. I might grab a side of their hot next time just to dip into it. Mac and cheese was really good. Very cheesy, no complaints. The chicken fingers looked solid, good crunch and clearly quality white meat. The fries were hand-cut and you can tell they’re using good potatoes, but they were a little undercooked for me. I like fries a bit more crisp with that soft inside, and these were a little firm. Still a decent portion. Atmosphere was a bit cold and underwhelming, but fine enough. You’re there for the food anyway. Definitely worth a stop. I’d go back without hesitation, not just for the wings but to try more of the menu.

  This was my second trip to Marie's and it won't be my last! We have tried the catfish and chicken and all of the sides. Every single thing has been absolutely delicious! I live in Platteville, and I have carried the food home both times - I typically don't like to do that because I really prefer my food to be hot and fresh out the kitchen, but even after an hour and a half drive home, everything was amazing! I can only imagine how delicious the food will be when we get to eat in!

  This is mostly a take out place, though there are 3-4 tables. Their fried chicken is great with a flavorful light breading. Their sides are delicious too. My friend really enjoys the catfish. Ordering online is really easy, and they are always ready on time.
