I am writing to formally report an unacceptable experience with Qdoba’s online ordering process. I placed an online order with a promised completion time of 6:03 PM. Over an hour later, my order had not even been started.
After already waiting more than an hour, I was then informed that I would need to wait an additional hour for my order. This level of delay, especially without proactive communication, is completely unacceptable.
During this time, I observed multiple walk-in customers place orders, receive their food, and leave without issue. When I asked about the delay, I was told there is still a wait for online orders. This clearly indicates that online orders are being deprioritized or ignored altogether, despite customers paying in advance and being given specific completion times.
At that point, it raises a very real question—what is the purpose of offering advance online ordering if customers are still expected to wait hours while others who walk in are served immediately? The system, as it was experienced today, defeats the entire purpose of ordering ahead.
Additionally, I am a disabled veteran with multiple injuries, and I specifically rely on online ordering for convenience and to avoid prolonged standing and waiting. Being required to wait for hours, without clear communication or accommodation, made this situation even more difficult and unacceptable.
To make matters worse, I was informed that food items are now running out, which raises serious concerns about whether my order will even be fulfilled as placed—despite being submitted well in advance. This reflects poor planning, mismanagement of orders, and a disregard for customers who rely on your system.
Given the excessive delay, lack of service, and overall experience, I am requesting a full refund for this order. I also expect a clear explanation of how this situation occurred and what corrective actions will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.
If this issue is not addressed appropriately, I will escalate this complaint through additional channels.

Decided to grab lunch here with my son today. My expectations weren’t high to begin with because I know what I’m getting when I come to a place like this.
We ate in and discovered that every item in our bowls that should have been hot (rice, beans and meat) were all cold. I brought it to the employees attention and they realized their line burners weren’t on.
The disappointing part is that there was no apology offered, no attempt to remake our bowls or any gesture to correct it in a future visit. Ultimately, it likely wouldn’t have been enough to make me want to come back anyway but it would have been appreciated that they attempt to do something rather than watch us eat cold burrito bowls.

I have a plethora of issues. One being I never get my food on time when I preorder and I always preordered an hour ahead of time and still end up having to wait. I only preorder because I like to know my food is going to be ready by the time I go out and get it. The amount of food in the bowl always changes. They're usually out of steak and/or queso. I've gotten leftover bell peppers in my order, I don't even eat bell pepers in my bowl. It's not always the cleanest inside. I've been given other people orders and have had to wait in line, when I preordered, because they gave my food out to someone else. Upside the staff is usually nice but that doesn't make up for everything else.
