  First time at Magpie's and it was a great experience! Our service from Ambrazia was exceptional (just as it always was at Creekside Jacks! So sad that it's closed but thankful we have another fantastic place to go to see Ambrazia and have great food!) The atmosphere was great, everything was decorated so cute for the holidays! Can't wait to go back!

  What an amazing experience And Ambrazia what is the heart of our experience?. She was amazing with the kids Ran back back-and-forth from the kitchen to our barrel. It was below zero out she got all of our food, correc. What above and Beyond to make sure everything was right. And it was snowing and icing, and she did it all with a smile I would definitely come back just for her service.

  Ambrazia was our server and she was nothing less than exceptional.! she was very accommodating on getting us into the barrels at the last minute. Ambrazia was efficient and smiling during our whole experience there. Thani you so much for being kind with our kids and a great human 😊

  Good food, very lack luster service, but the meal got comped. We had called ahead a day before to ask about reserving a table, were told "we don't do reservations" and "its a Monday, so it won't be busy, just come on in." We arrived and the entire inside was booked for a private event, and only outside, partially heated, seating was available. Then service was slow, which I could excuse due to the crowd, but everyone had an issue with their order being done wrong. The issues kept coming to the point someone at our table didn't get their drink for the whole meal. At the end, we got the checks and noticed they had gratuity applied when the posted notices say parties of 8+ have automatic gratuity when we were a party of 6. After complaining, one of the waitresses also scoffed in knowing, like this has been happening often. The manager comped our meal though and told us to have a nice night with no other issue after. Good food, the brat burger is wonderful, chips are a bit bland.

  We went to Magpie’s on Saturday and had such a great experience. We reserved one of their frosted barrels, which was extremely clean and so much fun. It overlooked the nature preserve, making it feel cozy and private. The temperature was perfectly controlled with a small heater, and we even played our own Christmas music from our phones, which made it extra special. The food was very good—definitely a step above typical bar food—and the soups were outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, such a lovely experience and a great spot for a unique, private outing. Highly recommend!
