It was just after "normal" lunch time on a Sunday, there was one other table in the restaurant who already had their food, and we saw/heard evidence of at least 7 employees on the clock. But somehow, our "fast food" still took 26 minutes to be delivered to our table of 2. After 15 minutes I approached the counter to see if the order was even being worked on, I was assured it was in the queue. After 20 minutes, the food runner lady poked her head out and said it was coming, so I commend her for that bit of customer attention. When she finally delivered it she said it took so long becaue they were waiting on the chicken nuggets, which are usually a staple at McDonald's, so 26 minutes??
