  Looking for a place that's not busy for noon lunch? This is the place! (though for good reason) There's typically only one "sandwich artist" sleep-- er, working. Take your time to gently rouse them from their midday slumber in the back, lest they'll become more cantankerous with you at every step in your order. If something is missing from for order, no problem! They'll throw it across the counter to you with a pleasant grumble. Eating "fresh" here is also in question. The Italian bread seemed rather tough for something baked fresh daily. The store generally doesn't present well from a number of points, but given the traffic, it's not hard to understand why. If you're really set on Subway, there's a location on Holy Hill Rd, roughly a mile north. Not world class, but a far cry better. Otherwise, there's a Cousin's Subs, also up at Holy Hill Rd that does seem to have it together for lunch. I've been here enough times to recognize this is not an aberration, but normal. And recently only tried it again because of road work... it hasn't changed. If the owner isn't going to put in the effort to make the store functional, attractive (and profitable) it might be time to sell to someone who will at least try.

  Whatever they are paying the young woman work on 6/3/18, it’s not enough! Beyond efficient, working all by herself. And my sub was the best I’ve had from a subway...Ever!!!
