This is a wonderful store. New items and smaller portions in things I'd like to try. Fun to browse for cool items.

Really nice store with the friendliest, most welcoming staff, but it is now officially unaffordable. Of course, it has always been on the pricier side, but since my last visit 6 months ago it has gone up substantially for just about everything, so much so that no one with even average income can visit.

Would give it -0 stars if I could! I recently visited Fresh Thyme after seeing online that Mountain Valley Spring Water was “ready for pickup.” I chose not to pay the $5 fee just to reserve the order, since most stores (Walmart/Big chains) dont charge for that. When I arrived the entire experience went downhill fast. It was incredibly hard to find anyone willing to help. The shelf was empty even though the website said the waters were available. When I finally found a worker, she was kind enough to look into it and brought out another employee. This bald white man who I assume was a Manager. (Very unprofessional, very rude, super racist) The moment he showed up, he didn’t talk to me. He yelled! Out of nowhere.. “YEAH NO! WE DON’T HAVE 12 PACKS YET! I MEAN WE DO BUT WE DON’T! IF YOU WANT GET 12 INDIVIDUALLY WE DONT HAVE BOXES!” The way he spoke to me was so aggressive, so unnecessary and so disrespectful that I literally blanked out. My partner had to repeat what he said because I was so shocked and angry. It felt targeted. It felt personal. It felt like I wasn’t welcome there at all. Like i bothered him to do some actual work smh. At self checkout, the woman assisting was rude as well. A bottle wouldn’t scan and she took her time barely acknowledging us. Meanwhile, I watched other customers (white customers) get greeted, helped, and spoken to politely. We didn’t get a “hello” we didn’t get a “have a good day” NOTHING. I can only speak from my own experience, but as a Brown shopper I left feeling completely unwelcome and singled out. It honestly felt like a place where people who look like me aren’t treated the same. I will never shop here again. And based on how I was treated, if you’re Brown or Black I would personally avoid this store! No one deserves to be made to feel the way I did over something as simple as trying to buy water. smh..
