Pretty Good, ordered a couple of soups and sandwich. Black bean and chicken noodle and they accidently gave me 2 chicken noodles which was ok as my mom isn't feeling good and I can get the black bean later. The employees were very kind and helpful though

I usually like Panera restaurants. I came for my birthday today because it sounded good. But I ordered two bowls of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich and two lattes. Everything was cold when we got it, and it took a really long time - while I watched many other people's names pop to the top of the "ready" board that weren't there at all when we ordered.
My food had to be sitting on a counter somewhere getting cold instead of being put up for us- my French onion soup bread bowl had melted cheese on top but the cheese was cold and congealed and while the bottom of the soup was still hot, the top was cold.
My husband's chili was the same way. His grilled cheese was slightly warm. Our coffees were lukewarm.
This is not the service I expect from Panera.

I ordered online. Came with NO fork. The components such as the hard boiled egg and avocado were just thrown in. They were not cut up at all and I find this kinda blasphemy!! Who doesn’t cut up components of the salad that need to be cut? Honestly.

I have typically loved my visits to panera as my food is generally fresh, tasty, well put together and the establishment is clean, however, today I had such an upsetting experience that left me so disappointed. I was extremely excited for the hot chocolate release today and the free keychains advertised for the first 25 in cafe orders of hot chocolate. I know this is a small thing, but to me it was big! I arrived at the café a few min prior to opening to ensure id be first (had no idea how big of a deal this might be to others!) I arrived inside after they unlocked the doors and there was a short line forming to order. I had got up early and made a special trip to panera for this occasion. The woman in front of me stated she also was there for the promotion and the cashier right away looked confused and annoyed and had no clue what we were talking about. She stated she did not think that was a "real thing" so the woman tried to show her email and text notifications but the associate blew it off. Then she said "that was yesterday" so it went from not being real to already took place? We then stated the advertisements said it was indeed today and asked if they handed them out yesterday instead, truly just trying to figure this out so we can order. The associate said she did not know. The entire time the woman in front of me was calm, nice and just simply was trying to get to the bottom of this and i was glad because I was also wondering and as were others behind me. The associate quickly snapped and stated she wouldnt be getting attitude about this as she rolled her eyes and stormed away. This was the first guest of the day.. I was very taken back by this because no one was even close to rude but the associate and I understand she was put in a poor position being she is taking orders after a long morning of opening I presume and there is a promotion happening that her management did not inform her of or prepare her for and that is not cool at all, but to be rude to customers about it also is not cool. She went into the back several times rolling her eyes on the way and no one else came to help or help sort this out. She kept saying "There's nothing I can do" with a sharp attitude. As much as I was really bummed about the Keychain, had she said "I am really sorry I am not sure about this and wasnt told" I would have been completely okay because I get it. Maybe could have offered a cookie or to take our info to call us when they sort this out but nothing. No apologies or anything. Finally she stated the person who knew about this would be in "in a bit" and we could order and then ask. The woman in front of me ordered and then asked what time and she was told 11. Mind you, this was 7:00.. so we were told to order and wait 4 hours? I left without ordering since no one seemed to know about this special promotion and the magic of the hot chocolate release was ruined at this point by a cashier who had an absolutely poor attitude from the beginning towards people who were calm, nice, kind and just had questions. It is truly unfortunate that there was apparently no manager and the manager did not inform their team or put the keychains where they should be. Customer service definitely can be rough and to not prepare your team is awful. We were nice even tho the associate was not, but I am sure others may not have been as nice. I offered to show her the email notification and spot on the site with the info so she was aware as I knew today was going to be a rough day since this promotion was advertised and they had no info or things to hand out. I was Definitely really sad to not get the Keychain and that I wasted time and gas to get here but was mostly upset that this situation and experience did not have to be a bad one but it left a terrible taste in my mouth and I don't think I will be back soon. Had we been rude, I would have supported the associate sticking up for herself, but no one was close to rude at all but her. I try to never write negative reviews but this just really tainted the day.
